I was just getting into Twine Peaks when the STS dropped. I hadn't beaten the stormshield defense, so I didn't have access to the missions yet.

I decided to stick around and try to grind a little more. I was earning 4 skill points per level, so I figured it wouldn't take too long. Well the STS patch changed up the skill point XP. This made me go BACK to earning 3 skill points.

The problem here is that I was already in Twine Peaks, but now leveling up does not give me 4 skill points, but only 3. So it takes 2 level ups to get a new skill.

This is making my skills go to a crawl. I finished the SSD, but pickaxe farming is so **** slow that I have to go BACK to Canny to get supplies, then jump into Twine to do a mission. I have gained around 10-15 skill point levels, if not more, since the STS update, and I am still only getting 3 skill points on a level-up. If this trend continues for much longer, I have no idea what I am going to do. I am rushing the mining skill points so it wont take so long to gather materials, but they are gated behind the 20 points threshold. The missions in Canny are all green and take numerous missions, even at level 70, to level up. Everything was fine before the patch, but now leveling is ridiculously slow, you're sandwiched between two zones, one too high and one too low, and you have no easy way to escape it.

If you were ahead of the curve, this isn't a problem because you already got enough points to sustain you. But since I was only slightly behind it, it has brought me to a screeching halt.

It feels incredibly ****** in comparison to the rest of the experience with the game, which had a relatively smooth transition and options between zones. I call bs on you getting 4 sp a lvl before STS. Most people don't get 4 sp a lvl till way into twine. People who solo grinded radars didn't even get 4 sp a lvl till like 94 twine lol. I personally unlocked it right before od 3 twine. If you were getting 4sp a level, you should have a ton of SP saved up to easily buy the 2 mining nodes as soon as u could unlock skill tree 4. I'm talking probably 120+ SP saved at that point.

But you don't even have the 80 SP saved upon unlocking skill tree 4, so there's no way you were getting 4 sp per lvl, it's just impossible unless you spend every single point you had and never saved anything. In that case you're gonna be screwed as there's a skill point limit, and you won't be able to unlock the important things, unless you get collection book to 100 and finish all your stormshield defenses. The reason the xp curve isn't smooth? It's because everyone farms rescue survivor, radars, and encampments. Those 3 give poor xp, so if you're only doing thos to progress.u do the math.

Get Experience Points price, charts, and other cryptocurrency info.

Get a real group, farm the real missions that give better xp and you will unlock that 4 sp in notime. Man I just knew someone would come in here with some stupid **** like this. First of all, Power Level does not translate into Skill Points gain at all. It has absolutely no bearing on how many skill levels I have gained. Second, it's not about the radar missions. It's about he fact that everything is too low level. It's all green.

I left accessed the 4th skill tree with about 60 something points, which wasn't enough to get the pickaxes. Just to give you a hint as to why this is definitely stupid: I am currently sitting at 68/74 in the first tree; 89/100 in the second tree, 85/100 in the third tree, and 21/100 in the fourth tree. This means that if I were to take every point out of the 4th tree and put it into the lower trees, it would cost 6 to fill out the first tree, 22 to fill out the second tree, and 45 to fill out the third tree.

That would be a total point investment of 73 points. I currently have 84 points invested in the 4th tree. That means I have 11 points overflow of getting only 3 at a time instead of getting 4. So I could literally fill out all of my lower trees and I am still not getting enough points to get 1 skill point per level where I am currently. I haven't even finished all of my SSD's for the extra skill points, so it's not like i'm too far ahead or anything.

I'm there in skill levels, but I'm not earning the points. That's the ****ing problem. Is ur canny valley skill tree filled out? Skill points from what i understand come from commander lvl which you cant really see but can gage based on how full ur skill trees.i know alot of people skip nodes they dont think are usefull and that leads to thinking there commander lvl is higher then it actually is.'

Hmm seems like ur points match up.is there any way you could have inflated ur points like ssd or quests or the collection book? Only thing else i can think of is ya found a bug in the unfinished part of the game.i know up till canny valley it works out great when ya swich from 1-2 and 2-3.only half way threw my canny tho. I replied there is no ****ing you were getting 4 sp a lvl. Why the animosity? When the fug did I even bring up powerlvls.? Your skill points is based on how many times you leveled up and earned skill points, that is all. Based on what you posted, there was simply no way for you to be getting 4 sp a level.

That's all I called you out on. If you were, then it was a bug, and you are correctly getting the 3 like you should be. By the time you get 4 sp a lvl, you should have almost unlocked maybe 60 nodes. Yes it's that much and yes it's stupid. You are barely what 21 nodes into tree 4.

You've got a long way to go before sp 4 buddy. IE there is no ****ing way you were getting 4 sp a lvl! And why wouldn't canny be green lmao? You should be playing in twine, where things are prob yellow to red.
