I'd probably setup 2x 3/4 gpu rigs. All it would really mean is an extra Mobo, cpu, ram, and hdd. But if rig 1 freezes or something, you'd still be earning coin. And yes I feel 6+ GPU's require 2x psu.

Reason I didn't include it part of the extra cost. If your planning on budget mining, I'd go for 1060's as they hash well and are priced pretty good. If your looking for higher-end, I'd get 1070/1070ti's.

Avoid 1080/1080ti's. Yeah, the 1080x models do perform better than 1060/1070/1070ti's, but you lose in the investment on a Sol/watt basis. I would also avoid the oh so famous RX 480/580's as mining eth is still a thing, but what happens when you can't mine Eth? You'd switch to equihash, which is Nivida's playing field.
